In terms of emailing from AccountEdge v14.5, we did release a small patch to AccountEdge v14.5 that allowed email attachments to be correctly added to emails generated using MAC Mail on El Capitan. As it was a compliance change and no additional major features were released there is no reason to use the "Upgrade a company file" using the Company file maintenance option on the Welcome Window - this option would be if you are going from AccountEdge v13 to AccountEdge 14. Hi upgrade a company file between AccountEdge v14 and AccountEdge 14.5 you would just open the company file in the AccountEdge v14.5 version.
